Why about 250 h on John Deere? John Deere allows a 500 h (or annual) engine oil change on its 6M Final Tier 4 tractors only with Plus-50 II oil, a John Deere filter and diesel under 15 ppm sulphur. Standard SA diesel is 50 ppm, so John Deere’s own schedule drops to 250 h. Use about 250 h as a guide and confirm with oil analysis.
